In response to community need, the Danvers People to People Food Pantry was created by the Danvers Community Council to help Danvers families needing assistance. The pantry is operated by a team of volunteers who are dedicated to community service. These volunteers collect food, stock shelves, interview clients as well as shop, distribute and deliver food. Eligible clients may visit the pantry twice a month.

The Pantry is now accepting food donations. We are always in need of paper goods (paper towels, napkins, toilet paper). Tomato sauce in the jar is great. Brand name cereals such as: Cheerios, Raisin Bran, Chex, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Frosted Flakes. Crackers are a grateful donation – Graham, Ritz, Wheat Thins etc. No Salt, Low Sugar and Gluten Free Items always in demand. Please call the Pantry to schedule a drop off if you will – (978)739-4188. The Town of Danvers has been fabulous and we are so thankful for everyone and every organization who has been a support to us.

DONATIONS & SUPPLIES
Our food supply and funds are donated through drives at local schools, civic organizations, businesses, churches, the Postal Service, and the citizens of Danvers. When supplies are low, food is purchased from local supporting merchants and the Greater Boston Food Bank. Many of our clients have special nutritional requirements. We always need LOW FAT, LOW SODIUM, or LOW SUGAR food items. We also appreciate donations of clean re-usable shopping bags and unopened personal toiletries.
